DiskSuite RAID5 performace

We have a Fire880 box running Solaris2.8 and Oracle8.1.7. And Use the DiskSuite to Create the RAID5 device md9, and mount it as a file system.
Now When to create tablespace on the file system, the performance is so lower, only 10% CPU is in use.

What's wrong with the system, why the io or cpu does not work hard?
