This is not what the Oracle error message says. It *specifically* say that when it requested access to that file on the G:\ drive, the Microsoft Windows Operating system said, quote "the system cannot find the path specified" unquote.

*That* _is_ the error. Period.

Try UNC instead. This is many times more sensible than to rely on someone/something to perform the right drive mapping on whatever server. As you have experienced first hand with this error.
