Hi Robert,

The "Concepts Guide" is a good start.

http://tahiti.oracle.com/pls/tahiti/tahiti.docindex

Is the Oracle documentation library index - you'll need a technet login which I believe you can get from technet.oracle.com.

There's also a few other books there such as 'Getting to know Oracle8i' which I must admit I haven't read!

Oracle is a HUGE subject - so it really depends what your interest it - do you want to develop ? are you going to end up an administrator ?  a technical architect ?

Tom Kyte's site is a good place to find info also:

asktom.oracle.com

Regards,

Paul
