webMethods, Inc., Senior Developer Support Engineer Worked with customers to install, configure, test, and debug integration projects using webMethods products. Worked with the developers, professional services consultants, sales engineers, and management to specify, test, and ship new products, service packs and fixes worldwide. Specialized in the webMethods mainframe products, integration server, and enterprise server along with database adapters. Worked thru 250 service requests in 53 weeks with over 50 customers.

Kanbay, Inc, Senior Consultant
Regence Membership and Claims conversion project. I wrote SQL queries to analyze the relationships in the provider database. I wrote program specifications, and programs to convert the data from the PIMS tables in Oracle to the FACETs tables in Sybase. I wrote test plans, and test scripts to test the converted data.

Coordinated the maintenance of the billing system with changes in the Glenayre paging terminals nationwide. Wrote the high level design specifications, detailed programming specifications, assigned programmer tasks and managed programmers&#8217; progress. Managed the Y2K testing including: Building a comprehensive Y2K test environment with an HP 250D with Oracle, two MicroVaxes, one Novell Network server, three Windows NT servers with Winframe, a remote Glenayre 6.1 paging terminal in Oklahoma, and four Windows 95 workstations hooked together on a SynOptics LattisNet router, a Bay Networks 10/100 hub, and a Cisco 2600 Latgat. Tested 34 applications including 3 tier applications with Visual Basic front ends in Winframe that access files in the VAX with Cobol, and files on the HP in an Oracle database that are on an SQL*NET. Tested billing batch cycles. Worked with over 25 people to coordinate date changes, bug fixes, and testing issues. Worked with 25 vendors to send and receive files and document test results on the vendor&#8217;s systems. Documented the test results, test plans, test scripts, vendor certifications, contingency plans, bug fixes, and issues list. Analyzed the translations required to merge AT&T Wireless Messaging systems paging terminal databases with Metrocall paging terminal databases to allow access by separate billing systems on the same paging terminal.

3/99-7/99 Project Manager for 16 projects at the San Francisco International Airport Y2K office. I worked with vendors and city employees to assess, remediate, test, and certify systems for Y2K compliance according to the City of San Francisco and FAA regulations and guidelines. I wrote project plans, test plans, Microsoft Project timelines, test execution and results documents, contingency plans, and status reports. I met with users, vendors, decision makers, programmers and testers to motivate them to finish by the deadline.

10/98-3/99 Project Manager for Alternate Delivery Technologies with IBM Global Services at Washington Mutual Bank. Overseeing the Y2K End to End testing for alternate delivery technologies. Built the Inventory database using Access, Visual Basic, and Excel. I wrote test plans, test scripts, Microsoft Project timelines, and budget projections. Managed the building of the test systems Architecture.

1/98-10/98 Lead Analyst and Programmer for the Customer Service Center Vantive system at Group Health Cooperative - database administrator for the development environment for the project. Wrote the batch interface between the Unix system and the mainframe. Coded, tested and debugged SQL Server stored procedures, Visual Basic code in Vantive, Unix scripts, Ideal programs, Cobol programs, JCL streams, parmlib members, doclib members and changeman packages. Loaded Unix program source into Visual Source Safe.

3/96-12/97 Lead Analyst and Programmer for the Master Patient Index hospital integration system - Wrote a very complicated CICS Cobol II transient data queue transaction with 26 subroutines and a daily batch report job with 9 steps. Reviewed C code and TransAct SQL in the Sybase/Sun interface engine system while debugging problems involving TCP/IP ebcidic to ascii conversion and routing. Used Health Language 7 version 2.3, Roscoe, Librarian, Changeman, Version Merger, FileAid, Expediter in CICS, and BookManager. Conducted regressive integration testing involving four computer systems in two health care organizations and 20 user testers over 250 separate tests and more than 100 daily reports downloaded and emailed to the users. Year 2000 project - Conducted the analysis in the pilot Y2K project and converted 300 Ideal programs.
