Calling c or c++ code from Oracle

Hello,
I'm pretty new to Oracle and Unix, so please forgive me if this is an
obvious question.
We are planning to have an Oracle 8 installation in a Unix
environment, and we are going to want it to call into a c or c++ api
on a windows 2000 machine. Is this possible?
