The Center for Computational Research (CCR) at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites applications for an experienced production database administrator with expertise in Oracle. CCR is a leading academic supercomputing center that contains significant high-end state-of-the-art computing and visualization resources. The Center is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual who wishes to work in a dynamic research environment.

Applicants for the database administrator position must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information sciences, or related discipline, although a master's degree is preferred. However, a combined education and experience equivalency will be considered. At least 3 years experience serving as an Oracle database administrator in a production environment is required. Experience with DB2 is beneficial. Salary range is $60,000 - $85,000, depending on qualifications.
