Greetings,

I'm looking for information about an Oracle product called, "Workflow".

I'm trying to develop an application that uses Workflow to design/create Business
Processes that can be applied to to applications that communicate through asynchronous messages. We are currently using Oracle's Java Message Service (JMS)

implementation called "Oracle Message Broker" for the message communication. On the Technet site there is a document describing the Oracle Integration Server,
which explains at a high level how these two products (Workflow and Message Broker)
can be used together. I'm on a small team that is trying to prototype this to see how
viable a development solution it could be.

I've downloaded Oracle Workflow release 2.5.0.16 demo from the Oracle Technet website.
I'm having trouble getting it to work as standalone or embedded in an Oracle application.
I've tried installing it several times, but the installer seems to crash on me everytime I
attempt it. Even though it crashes it seems to have installed the Oracle Builder client,
which I think is working ok. My real concern is with the configuration of Workflow server.

What documentation I've found regarding installation/configuration seems to be old and
quite complex. I have Oracle 8i Enterprise Server (8.1.5) and WebDB 2.2 currently installed
on the machine.

If anyone out there has any information about this how to setup and use this product I would
be very appreciative.
