In theory. Most 486 boards had pretty dodgy PCI chipsets.

It probably held a lot more but only cached the first 32 (64 if you're lucky). I've only seen one 486 board that cached more than 32MB and it needed a cache upgrade to do it.
Kinda like TX motherboards can take 512MB but only cache the first 64. Received on Sat May 15 1999 - 00:00:00 CEST
