Hi,

We are a long-time Oracle UNIX (SUN Solaris) shop. I have been asked to evaluate the capabilities of running Oracle on NT, its strengths and weaknesses and have been collecting lots of information and running some tests.

Now I am interested in some anecdotal feedback from DBAs who have some real-world experience with supporting Oracle on NT. If you have some comments on what you like/dislike, scalability, reliability, performance, etc. of Oracle/NT, please email them to me.

Also, what tools do you use for remote administration so that you can log into an NT server from home to resolve an off-shift problem? With UNIX it is easy to do remote logins, either in character or X-windows mode.

Thanks in advance.
