DATABASE LINK ERROR

Hello,

When attempting to access an ORACLE 7.2.3 database via a database link (the link uses a Sqlnet V2 connect string) from an ORACLE 7.3.4 database, I receive an intermittent error ORA-3113 END OF FILE ON COMMUNICATION CHANNEL ERROR. A core dump is generated on the ORACLE 7.2.3 server, but nothing is reflected in the alertsid.ora file.

I do have the listener up and running on both machines.
