EXTENSIVE SEARCH for several senior software sales managers, based in either the Boston headquarters. The company is a leader in developing middleware technology-based software and a strong player in the relational DBMS market. They produce an advanced relational database system and application development environment for a variety of hardware and operating environments, including client/server hardware platforms which operate in a distributed database.

Position requires selling software and services to new and existing end user accounts, developing and maintaining relationships with OEMs, resellers and partners, development and sales of marketing programs and general major account management.

Also responsible for the development of both vertical and horizontal strategic partners in one or more of the following: hospital information systems, banking, brokerage, real estate, insurance, finance, manufacturing, telecommunications, consumer packaging, energy, government, higher education, or pharmaceuticals.

Mandatory requirements include:

1.  Major account management and/or sales experience required, 
2.  Experiences selling into at least one of the above sectors,
3.  Must have experiences selling major SW products to large
customers.
4. Must have experiences developing VAR relationships and/or selling to major End Users

U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.

Travel is required.
