Position: Systems Programmer Oracle /NT - UNIX
Product/service: Oracle DB Support within NT and UNIX Reports To: Application Systems Engineering Compensation: Base $ 50-65K + Bonuses + Profit Sharing

Qualifications:
* BSCS or equivalent; MSCS a plus * 4+ experience with Oracle DB * Strong knowledge of:
- AT&T System V UNIX - Required
- Microsoft Windows NT - Required
- Oracle relational databases - Required
- Programming skills with SQL - Required * Extensive HW/SW and network integration and troubleshooting skills - Required * Replication experience - a plus
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Member of the Application Systems Engineering team providing
design, implementation, and support of Oracle/NT and Oracle/ Unix systems to multiple campuses * Responsible for:
- design and implementation of HW, OS, DB SW
- DB sizing/adjustments
- creation of user DBs and granting access rights
- creating and maintaining DB and tablespace management
- performing exports and on-line backups
- monitoring system performance and tuning
- server security
- monitor application/DB space requirements and plan/provide adequate capacity
- coordinate with Network Support staff and application owners regarding SW upgrades, patches, and issues
