What exactly is this LD_LIBRARY_PATH bug? All that I know is that I've been trying to append stuff to my LD_LIBRARY_PATH via my .login and CDE always hangs! To get around it, I put it in my .cshrc. Is this the bug about which you are speaking? If so, I've been driving myself batty trying to figure out why my CDE kept hanging. The symptom is that the applications windows appear, but the window manager never appears.
