Yes, it did, on Oct. 4. I have included the first part of the text below, taken directly from DejaNews.
The commands to create the new groups went out on Oct. 10. This newsgroup, comp.databases.oracle will be removed on Dec. 10.
If your news carrier hasn't created the new groups, it is time to contact the news administrator and request that they be created immediately!!!
