We had this problem when upgrading from 7.2.2.4 to 7.3.xx.

It seems that Oradim73 doesn't update the system-registry at service creation time.

Try to change manually the system-registry-entry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

     SOFTWARE
            ORACLE
                  ORACLE_SID = <your SID>

where <your SID> is the SID you used at service-creation-time (for example 'oradim73 -new -sid ABCD.......' -> in this case SID = 'ABCD' )
