Hi,
This answer is a bit to easy and driven by the Marketing from Oracle. Designer/2000 is one of the better I-Case tools on the market, with full generation capabilities. Deveoper/2000 is the lower Case tool, needed for rebuilding the genereted application from Designer/2000. Why rebuilding, because 100% generation is not possible with alle the present Case tools.
This statement is not indicating that the /2000 set is not a good development environment, if you use Oracle as a database standard it will be a good choice. Otherwise look around for something even more better like: Usoft, Supernova, Forte or Dynasty.
