Can't access Oracle 7.0 WIN

After installing the Oracle 7.0 Windows Version I can't get access to any of the programs such as SQL*Plus and all other Oracle related that required logging in. I don't know how to set the UserId and the password and I think this is the main problem related to the above mentioned. Please advise.
