Has any one had the same problem with FORMS45 menubar??

I have a form that uses the menu module 'MENUDEF' from the one of the forms demo directories. The problem I'm having is that the Magic Menu Item Paste doesn't seem to work correctly. If I Copy text to the clipboard, go to another field and select Paste it will not paste. If I select Edit and then Paste it works fine. Has anybody else had the same problem, and if so is there a work around.
