My friends :

ORACLE is interested in hiring me as a DBA. But they want to 'try' me for one month to see if I am up to the job before deciding whether to hire me permanently.

Is this normal? How often does a candidate fail the trial? For sure I do not want to quit my current job and then get rejected by ORACLE one month later!

During this one month period I will be an employee of a recruiting agency. What is the common practice in terms of wage during this period? Do I even have to pay the recruiter a certain percentage?

Can anybody provides some insight into this situation?

Thanks in advance for your help!
