Hi,
In my first encounter with Personal Oracle, I tried to recreate some tables from a MS-ACCESS database that I designed earlier. Oracle complained "identifier too long" when I tried to create a table containing a field with a long name (31 characters). Trial and error made me realize that I should not use a name with more than 30 characters.
What I would like to know is, is this an unsurmountable limitation ?
Or can it be fixed by a simple change of settings in an ini file
or something like that ?
Thanks,
