Thanks for all replies, the CD is on it's way to me ( for ODBC) I managed to get a copy downloaded by hogging a T1 link for 3 hours. Those Oracle chappies need to look at the speed of downloading executables from their server.
I believe some companies are even basing their whole marketing strategy on the speed of software transfer across the net !)
