Oracle Database Administrator

Position:
Day to day administration of an existing Oracle Database. The qualified candidate will control and implement the development of new databases and tables for the Reservations, Customer, and Financial Systems databases. Individual must be willing and able to travel with the possibility of temporary relocation for up to 6 months

Responsibilities:
Individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), Creation of new Databases and Tables, and the daily maintenance of existing databases and tables. Individual will also be responsible for some development of Stored Procedures in Oracle and also Triggers for development staff. Designer 2000 will be used as the "Case Tool" for developing the ERD’s and databases. Implement change, manage performance, and ensure security.

Experience:
Our DBA must have at minimum of 3 years experience as an Oracle Database Administrator and be proficient with Designer 2000, Oracle RDMS, and Forms 4.5 in a Windows environment. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent is desired. Experience must include hands-on designing, modifying and maintenance of Oracle Databases. An Oracle 7 DBA Master Certificate is preferred.

Status: Full-time (this is a not a contract position)

Salary: Competitive/Negotiable (depending on qualifications).
