There are statements ALTER DATABASE ARCHIVELOG/NOARCHIVELOG but they can be issued only when database is not open (mounted, not open), so I think you are running out of choices. Hope I'm wrong...

You may consider of deleting immeadiately these night-born offline redologs, but you should consider carefully restoring options, if something happens.
