Your biggest problem is that you have installed the ODBC driver for RDB and you haven't got an RDB database. RDB is NOT Oracle.

You need the ODBC driver for connecting to Oracle databases if you wish to connect to an Oracle database via ODBC. (Although you say you have "Oracle RDB" installed on the server, the fact remains that you're not running RDB.)
