Jon,

I realize that the city of Brian is small & it is rural, etc, etc. However answer one question, what is the current income of the local medical community, i.e physicians, plumber etc. I whould say much higher than 35K /Yr. A good DBA is a professional, like any other professions mentioned above, the DBA maintains the storage of vital data, which if lost can impact the earnings of the utility. What would you say is the value of the data in the database. What would you say is the indexed cost of living in Bryan Vs the so called big cities, say 75% of the average, Would you say that in big city the DBA makes, calculate it yourself.

I understand that the rural lifestyle has its +'s , however for your information, first year progremmers etc are currenty making 45K+ average nationwide, which still includes Bryan, to my knowledge.

I hope you will find a poor fool soon.
