Well as I wrote in my original reply the documentation *claims* that this is possible (we do know how to read) but it did *not* work. We then contacted Oracle Support (Denmark) and asked why it didn't work when the documentation said it should. Oracle Support then informed us that the documentation was incorrect and that we should not expect it to work.

So the natural question here is: Have you actually tried this or are you relying on the claims of the documentation.

Another possibility is that this was only a problem in release 1.1 of designer/2000.
