The latest version of Oracle7 for SCO OpenServer is 7.2.2 for SCO OpenServer Release 5 ... this may have raised the raw partition limit.

In any case, I'm interested in what disk configuration you were aiming for ... can you tell me more ?

Oracle7.3 should be available for SCO OpenServer Release 5 and for SCO UnixWare 2 sometime soon ... with SCO UnixWare 2 running on a 4xPentium Compaq ProLiant 4500 this version of Oracle7 produced a world record TPC-C price/performance rating, and an absolute performance rating that beat many mid-high end RISC systems.
