sql reserved words: prevent insert in form

In Oracle Forms 4.xx I'll prevent/avoid inserts SQL Reserved Words into a character field.

Is there another way to do that instead of writing a post-insert trigger (or so ...) which compares the current field with a list of all reserved words?

Are the SQL Reserved Words stored somewhere in an Oracle table?

Hints and tips are very appreciated. Thanks!
