I agree with the others that the :old value should be used to create the SQL statement.

I just wanted to add that you should consider making this an AFTER trigger to reduce some of the i/o in case the delete statement fails and the transaction needs to be rolled back. Received on Sat Aug 26 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
