Hi everybody

I wrote a report, using Report 2.0. This report is called by a Pro*C file.

For that report, the Pro*C program pass parameters. In the post-form trigger, I check the parameters to be sure they are all valid.

When something get wrong, I display a failure message, raise a trigger failure and force the report to stop.

Up to here, everything goes just fine.

The problem is that I want capture all the output and put it in a log file. What I would like is to capture only the error message I gave to Oracle Report, but the software wrote down the complete Oracle Report header, with version and more, pass one line or two, write my failure message and then write down that a failure occured in the form001 trigger, forcing the report to abort.

Is there a way to avoid Oracle to be so "verbose" ? Just letting it writing my message ?

Thank you for your help!
