ORACLE on NT

Today we are running Oracle 6 and Oracle 7 on different UNIX platforms. It works just fine. Our management are planning to install Oracle 7 on a NT platform. I have been told, that NT is not as good as UNIX for multiprocessing. Are there any technical reasons why we should continue using UNIX instead of NT for eg. Oracle?
