Mike,
I think that you'll find that PO7 Enterprise Edition (I have a copy) cannot act as a server. They probably left out the ability for SQL*Net to access it. The term Enterprise Edition is a misnomer. "Personal" is the key word. I don't have the PO7 manual with me a home, but it does mention (briefly) that it can't be a server.
