 IMHO the Oracle classes are a good investment, but  they are expensive. Even though I knew some of the  information in the Oracle classes, the actual hands on  experience was still usefull. From my perspective,  the classes were worth it.

 My suggestion for filling out your knowledge is to read  as much as possible. It also doesn't hurt to practice.  I can say from experience, that if I had not gone through  restoring and rolling forward a database after a media  failure, I would not have been able to do it when I lost  a disk for real.

 And BTW I have 4 Oracle Master's certificates ========= ========= ========= ========= =========
