I too would like to do this. We have production user where nobody knows the password (not even us DBAs). Everything is done through role grants. Whenever you need to get in as the user, you have to change the password which messes up links on other systems. After looking into the BECOME USER privelege, I gather that this is only used by import. Can Oracle add the "Super User" ability in future releases?
