We use Oracle as a database server under NT and I have found it very robust!

It is full featured and the only real bug to date I have found is with the sql*loader direct path load option - DONT USE THIS or your database MAY crash.

I have created snapshots and replicated the warehouse and this works well; In addition, query performance via odbc and returning data to excel and access is reasonable regarding 'total turn around time' for significant amount of rows (15,000 to 400,000).

The registry under NT remains somewhat of a mystery, and finding supporting software such as batch schedulers and other production software can be tricky - but it is out there!   Received on Fri May 26 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
