Can anyone help?
I've just installed Oracle7 for SunOS 4.1 and everything went smoothly. I cannot however connect to the database to shut it down or do anything with it.
I get the error:-
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-07320: smsget: shmat error when trying to attach sga.
SunOS Error: 13: Permission denied
is there a file that has the wrong permissions?
what am I overlooking here?

ps: I can log into the DB with SQL and select data. Received on Mon May 15 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
