Need script to create ddl

Does anyone have a script they would like to share that takes a Oracle 7
database and
creates the necessary ddl to rebuild it? I am not relishing the thought
of coming up with one and would appreciate anyone who can help me avoid
the headaches it will cause. And we don't don't want to use the export
utility..for various reasons. Please reply be email to the above
