I'm running 7.1.3 on SparcArray with 20 disks (equals 14 gig available to use). Am too interested in a proper configuration. Have found that Kevin Loney in Oracle DBA Handbook has a whole section on different configurations which seems like a very good guideline. Would be interested, though, in more opinions since very few people have experience with array technology. (By the way, restores are EXTREMELY slow but they do work.)
