Intermittent ORA-00604 Errors w/ Forms 3.0 and Oracle 7

Has anyone encountered intermittent errors using SQL*Forms 3.0 with an Oracle 7 database. We are encountering frequent ORA-00604 error occurred at recursive SQL level 1. There is no consistent pattern to this occurrence and we cannot duplicate the error at will. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
