There is probably a LOT of swaping going on. I am really kind of suprised that it is running in 8 meg. I have not tried it, so I did not know that it would even work. If you upgraded to 16 meg, that would help a lot, I tried running forms and v7 on my PC and it was slow (not 25 seconds worth, but slow), however, it appears that you are just running sqlplus and V7, and that should run ok with 16 meg.
