Question: bind "life" in OCI (C++, Version 7.0.x)

Does anyone know when a bind done with obndra() becomes invalid or unusable? I assume it is when any one of the following occurs:
- the variable goes out of scope (what about static variables?)
- the statement is re-parsed
- the associated cursor is closed
Is this right?
