As has been commented on before here and elsewhere, Oracle is shoving Windows down everybody's throat since CDE2 only runs on Windows. You will NOT be able to do design on anything but Windows. Incredible but true. There will be very limited character-mode runform support.

Rumor has it that some bizzare and/or repulsive internal management politics at Oracle caused all this.

If there is a massive uproar by the Non-Windows users, maybe things will change? (Ha Ha)
