Re: Oracle CDE2

CDE2 is Oracle's new "Cooperative Development Environment, Version 2", and contains some really fantastic improvements over the last version.

The products included in the CDE2 package are: Oracle Forms 4.5, Oracle Reports 2.5, Oracle Graphics 2.5, Oracle Procedure Builder 1.0, and Oracle Browser 2.0.

I have used these new products, and although I am not easily impressed, I have to admit that THIS IS VERY IMPRESSIVE. Oracle has added features to Forms,Reports & Graphics which allow faster development, better gui, VBX support, object orientation ( allows similar objects to inherit properties from a class you define), an object navigator for easy access to all objects, and scads more.

It is my understanding that the price of these products will be announced sometime around the ?17th - 20th? of this month.
