V7 db size

Can someone please tell me the default database size in terms of datafiles, SGA, shared pool etc for Oracle 7? We're planning on upgrading to 7.1.3. (is this the latest?) and hope to be working around the default (small?) size. Is this a good idea? We may have ~300 students on the database. So we need to know how much space is involved and perhaps upgrade hardware (if necessary) before February.
