As President of the Oracle CASE SIG, it gives me great pleasure to announce a new program and new benefits for its members.  

Members of the Oracle CASE SIG are among the world's most progressive users and developers of systems. In recognition of this, Oracle and its partners have agreed to make advance "developer" copies of their software available to OCSIG members at no charge.  

Each OCSIG member will receive a copy of Oracle7 for Windows and the CDE2 Toolset, including Oracle Forms 4.5, Oracle Reports 2.5, and Oracle Graphics.  

OCSIG members will also be enrolled in the new Oracle Developer's Program. This will give them access to no-cost or low-cost copies of products from other vendors, as well as future products from Oracle, including Project X!!! The current offering includes ERwin from LogicWorks and SQL Coder from SQL Software Corp.  

These offerings are for evaluation purposes only. They should not be considered production level releases, and should not be used for deployment or production. No warranties are expressed or implied. Quantities or duration of offerings may be limited.  

Participants may be eligible for discounts on production level releases, depending on the offering.  

These offerings do not include Oracle's World Wide Support. The Oracle Developer's Program will offer a support BBS. CompuServe support is also under consideration.  

Other OCSIG benefits include a quarterly newsletter, Briefcase, winner of the IOUW Best SIG Newsletter award and conference discounts. OCSIG is the best source of information about Oracle CASE, and the main forum for feedback to Oracle CASE development. This year's conference will be held May 20-23 in Vail, Colorado.
