THAT IS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get rid of that developer. He/She DOES NOT know what he/she is doing ! Tell that person to learn more about relational database before trying to design a system. It is not that often for me to see tables with more than 30 columns, a few thousand columns --- only an idiot will do that! Even using a flat file I haven't seen or heard any designer THAT STUPID!

Show that person this reply !

In case you are wondering, I am a computer consultant. I have been using ORACLE for 4 years. I deal mostly with SQL*FORMS3.0 and SQL*PLUS.
