Oracle has just announced a Transparent Gateway to EDA/SQL. EDA/SQL is a very well known and performing middleware that integrates with a lot of databases such as Oracle, Sybase and INGRES.
Oracle Forms 4.0 will be certified to run against this Gateway, which will enable the product to transparently run against an INGRES database.
