I seem to recall this documented in the O7 docs, buried in the back. Was something like a key could not be more then about 2/3 of a block in size. I was incredibly pissed that this was not listed under the "limitations" section. This was not docced in V6 (or at least I never saw it, and I STUDY the docs).
