- Ability to perform SA functions on SCO Unix
- proficiency in high level language

Description:

        We are seeking a key management member to provide information to an organization currently in an aggressive growth phase. The candidate would provide such services to the organization through the efficient and effective management of the company's MIS department. To accomplish these objectives the candidate would need to be responsible for the entire MIS function, including strategy, planning, implementation, development, and support.

        The company is prepared to devote the resources necessary to an MIS strategy which carefully considers the needs of the organization along with the current available technology. The company is presently operating a distributed database architecture on several Intel 486 servers. The servers provide access to PC clients running GUI frontend  applications as well as to dumb terminals running character based applications on the server level.

        Tardan Foods Company is a mid-sized manufacturer of quality food products for the institutional and food-service industries. The company currently employs over 100 people and has placed a great emphasis on its MIS function as a vehicle for continued success. Salary for the position will be commensurate with experience.
