Problem with ODBC

I'm starting to work heavily with ODBC and ORACLE and I have a big problem. With ORACLE 6 on an HP9000 HP-UX server and EXCEL5 on a Windows client, after few hours of work, I start getting unexplicable "INSUFFICIENT MEMORY" messages. After these messages, I cannot even run Agenda, or Calculator; all I must do is to stop the work with EXCEL and ORACLE, and all returns normal.

Why does this happen ? Note that when the Windows system tells me that there is not enough memory I'm at 50% of memory usage, as is reported by Windows itself.

Maybe I have an old version of the ODBC driver: where I can ftp a newer one ?

Any type of help would be appreciated.

Thanx
